Boston is a great town. It’s got awesome people, awesome sports, and the aesthetic of the town isn’t too shabby either. However, with all the great things Boston has to offer, the world-class universities are often overlooked. And these universities are nothing to shrug off. They’re academically rigorous, and if you’re a student there, you’re going to need all the brainpower possible. So, you should check out these restaurants in Boston that offer food that is filling, nutritious, and, above all, cheap.

The first place that you should check out is Viva Burrito. Viva Burrito is a great place that you can order some incredible, authentic South American food from. When you order from here on your collegiate budget, it’d be good to start off with the black bean soup. It’s topped with cheese, sour cream, and pico; it’s a great complement to anything on the menu.

If you’re craving an entree, a wise choice would be the Enchiladas. They’re two corn tortillas that are topped with guajillo sauce, sour cream, and cheese. It’s also served with rice, refried or black beans, and comes with your choice of filling.

The next place that’s a great restaurant in Boston is Beard Papa’s. Beard Papa’s has a bunch of phenomenal desserts that you can indulge in after devouring some entrees from Viva Burrito. Their specialties are cream puffs, and they’re certainly something to remember. The eclair cream puffs are baked daily and are filled with your choice of filling. Another great couple options are the honey cream puffs and the original cream puffs if you’re not in the mood for chocolate.

A great spot in this classic college town to order some bar food from is the Tasty Burger. It’s cheap and it’s delicious. When you order from here, make sure to get the double spicy jalapeño burger. It’s a double patty with pepper jack cheese and jalapeños. It’s got the kick that makes food exciting, and it’s also got a bunch of protein that’ll keep you full. Sidewise, a great option is the tater tots. They’re deep fried to golden perfection, and they’re made with shredded potatoes.

If you’re not in the mood for a burger, a nice choice would be the crispy chicken sandwich. It’s a deep fried patty on a bun with lettuce and tomato, alongside chipotle mayo.

The final place that you should check out if you’re in Boston is State Street Provisions. State Street Provisions is the place to order from if you want some brunch delivered to your dorm. One of the best brunch options you can choose is the butter-poached lobster benny. It’s got lobster, tarragon-lemon hollandaise, and it’s all on an English muffin. The meal comes with home fries, too.

The universities in Boston are top notch, so it only makes sense that the cuisine should match. Fuel up your studies this semester, and order some great grub using FoodBoss. You’ll get some amazing options at a fair price.
