Season water aggressively with salt (the water should taste seasoned). 3. Meanwhile in a saute pan, heat up your desired sauce to a boil & turn the heat down to a slow simmer. 4. Add pasta to boiling water, for Orecchiette, Rigatoni, & Ziti, cook for 3-4 minutes, the pasta will start to float. Gnocchi & Spaghetti will cook for 2-3 minutes & will float when it is ready. 5. Use the pasta water to thin out sauce (1 tbsp at a time). 6. Place pasta into simmering sauce & cook for an additional 1 minute to coat the pasta in the sauce & to ensure pasta is done. 7. Place pasta in desired plate or bowl, garnish & enjoy.
