Blackcurrant, caramel, malt this exquisite black tea from Assam was carefully hand-plucked and masterfully processed on tonganagoan estate, a low-lying, organic garden on the banks of northeastern India’s brahmaputra river. The leaf has an abundance of golden tips. The liquor displays a yellow ring around the cup, signifying high levels of theaflavin, the compound in the tea leaf associated with flavor and health properties. Mountain flowers, grass-fed butter, ocean air made from wild tea plants that were hand-carried from a mountain village in shiiba, Japan to the nutrient-rich, organic soils of Nepal, this tea is lightly-oxidized to accentuate the natural flavors in the leaf.
