It’s true representation of Sauvignon Blanc in Napa Valley. One swirl and notes of pineapple, daisies, lemon grass and hint of minerals will float up from the glass to your nose. On your palate it’s vibrant crisp green apple acidity to passion fruit and refreshing tart mouthwatering lime zest, with a hint of camomile for its long finish.
A beautiful light color of Rosé reminiscent of an early garden pink rose. Dried cranberries, roses and citrus create its delicate nose. From the glass to your palate the wine is bright fresh richness of cranberries and soft spices. The Cultivar 2018 Rosé will be the perfect match for springtime brunch, summer BBq’s, on the boat, beach, pool or picnic.
Raise your glass and toast the oncoming autumn with this Chardonnay sprinkled with notes of ginger, toast, and honey, along with butter baked apples swirled with a touch of oak and beeswax. Pack this for the fall picnic and share with friends. Open this bottle now and enjoy. In fact, at this price, open two!
With richness on the palate that is supported with crisp notes of the perfect piece of sweet fruit. This Oakville Chardonnay is a perfect match for grilled seafood, fresh shell food and one of our personal favorites, roast chicken. 2018 was a near-perfect growing season started later than previous years, saw ideal weather conditions throughout and is coming to a close for a majority of wineries throughout the valley. Wines from the 2018 vintage are now quietly developing in cellars, and winemakers are pinching themselves and smiling for the gift it appears Mother Nature has given them.
An early bud break followed by warm weather and spring rains brought a rapid start to this year’s near perfect growing season in the valley. The fruit enjoyed beautiful weather during bud break and plenty of time to hang on the vines. Although yields were down due to drought, the berries were nice and plump, which resulted in a balanced and complex flavor profile.
The year began with abundant rainfall, followed by a mild Spring resulting in extended flowering with little shatter. A Labor Day weekend heatwave kicked harvest into high gear, then cool weather allowed sugar levels to return to normal. By October 8 nearly 90 percent of the 2017 grape tonnage was in when warm, fierce winds fueled an unprecedented firestorm. Napa Valley's winemakers remain committed to upholding the region's reputation for making some of the world's finest wines and early articles about the 2017 vintage describe the wines with words such as "finesse," "great complexity of flavor" and "elegant."

The near-perfect 2016 growing season started early, saw ideal weather conditions throughout and wrapped up as the valley's first significant fall rainstorm arrived on October 14. Thanks to a relatively steady and mild July and August and then a series of warm days at the end of the growing season, vineyards were able to progress to perfect ripeness. Wines from the 2016 vintage are now quietly developing in cellars throughout Napa Valley and vintners are pinching themselves and smiling for the gift it appears Mother Nature has given them: a fifth consecutive vintage of stellar quality Napa Valley wines.
The Leaky Lake vineyard of clay and loam soils lead to a rich seductive fruit forward wine. Ripe, chewy tannins may be tempting to drink now although to really be impressed wait until 2021 and beyond. This is a big, rich, deep wine that is still youthful but will age for at least 10-15 years. Ideally eat with rich dishes such as prime rib roasts or ribeyes.
This is our first release of Caspar Estate Sauvignon Blanc, an absolutely lovely fresh and luscious wine. The nose offers an instant waft of tropical fruit with Meyer lemon’s perfume.
