Tomas Estes and the Camarena family are the founders of Tequila Ocho single estate tequilas. This one, La Magueyera, is a name honoring the maguey plants themselves. The agaves used to make this tequila were grown in gray clay soil on south-facing slopes, which get full sunlight on the average day. Their añejo is aged for one year in very used American whiskey barrels which become “neutralized” and is therefore able to retain as much true agave flavor as possible.

Fermented in pine vats & distilled by Don Baltazar Cruz Gomez from agave Espadín grown at about 4000 feet in steep and sandy soils. Spicy, round, and soft.

Made by the same palanquero as Los Nahuales (as it is known here in the U.S. – it goes by Los Danzantes in Mexico), Don Joel Antonio Cruz y familia, the San Juan del Rio Alipús is made from 100% Espadín. Per the tasting notes from Craft Distillers it was fermented in oak vats and is the fruit of non-irrigated Espadín “grown in sunny mountain-top plantings in ferriferous soil at 4,600 feet.” They describe it as “Fruity, rich, smokey, pleasantly sweet.” In our tasting we found a full agave nose with a slight sweetness and light smoke notes. It was smooth on the tongue and displayed an even alcohol note. The palate reveals even more smoke which is the dominant impression left after a swallow. This is definitely the smokiest Alipús which should appeal to scotch drinkers who appreciate some peat.

Made from 100% Blue Weber Agave, Corralejo Silver is double distilled and unaged. This light and crisp tequila comes with a fresh citrus zing flavor and some sweet, spearmint tasting notes. South of the gulf of Naples, the Sorrentino peninsula is a little corner of heaven, with stunning landscapes, a mountainous coastline, deep valleys and citrus groves. The famous Sorrentino lemons come from this area. Botanically speaking, they belong to the citrus limonia variety (sometimes called Chinese citrus). These lemons are rather big with an intense flavour and unique organoleptic characteristics. In the convento farm, the Pollio family prepares its limoncello with the best lemons. Limocello is one of the favourite Italian drinks. It is a lemon liqueur with a golden colour and with an intense and delicate taste.

In 1933 Ugolino started distilling grape marc from the Langhe, Monferrato and Roero hills, in an old mill from the 16th century. Elena is now leading the fourth generation of this Grappy family, all born under the distillery machinery, surrounded by the scent of grappa. The sweet aromas of Nebbiolo, Barbera, Arneis, Dolcetto, and Moscato are all the varietals that grow in Elena's beloved Piedmont.

Monkey Shoulder is a blend of Speyside single malt Scotch whiskies which are married together for flavor and consistency. Monkey Shoulder casks are former bourbon casks, which add smooth vanilla flavors to this Scotch. It also has no grain whisky whatsoever anywhere in or even near the drink. It's barley all the way, folks. The name Monkey Shoulder might sound funny, but it has a history in whisky making. The maltmen who used to turn the barley would take long shifts, using their dominant arm significantly while working. At the end, their shoulders would droop on one side, an ailment that became known as "Monkey Shoulder." Today, nobody working at Monkey Shoulder actually has the affliction, though the barley still gets turned by hand. Working conditions are much better than they used to be. The name sounds cool and harkens back to the old whisky making days.

Bummer and Lazarus were two stray dogs that lived in San Francisco in the mid 1800s. Bummer rescued Lazarus from a fight, and from that point on they never separated. Most of the time back then, strays were killed on sight because dogs outnumbered humans 2 to 1, but Bummer and Lazarus were so loved that there was a separate statute allowing the dogs not only to roam the city, but downtown San Francisco where NO dogs were ever allowed. The reason for this was these were the best ‘ratters’ in the city. When Lazarus died over 30,000 people attended the funeral and when Bummer died Mark Twain wrote the eulogy. Mark Twain actually used the dogs in some of his stories. Bummer and Lazarus gin starts as brandy made from 100% California grapes then is redistilled with juniper berries, orris root, coriander seed, angelica root, bitter orange peel, lemon peel, cinnamon bark and licorice root.

The first of its kind, Junipero fearlessly led the birth of American craft gin in 1996. hairman’s Reserve The Forgotten Casks is an extra-aged sipping rum crafted to mimic rum found in the original forgotten casks of Chairman’s Reserve, which were preserved from St. Lucia Distillers horrific fire on May 2, 2007. The cellar master was forced to find unusual storage space for his rum barrels during the rehabilitation of the distillery, and these casks were misplaced during this time of confusion. These “forgotten casks” resulted in rum which was too old for the original Chairman’s Reserve blend, so it was decided that this rum would be released on its own and was received with worldwide acclaim. St. Lucia Distillers continues to hold back select Chairman’s Reserve for extra aging to offer a limited release of “The Forgotten Casks."

Chairman’s Reserve was first blended in 1999 and was overseen by the then Chairman, Laurie Barnard who conceived a quality rum which was blended using continuous and pot still rums coming on stream after ageing. Local demand has been phenomenal and the brand has expanded internationally, where the versatility of the rum makes for great cocktails. Bottled at 90 proof, this uniquely smooth, hand selected small batch rye has a crisp, lively taste that they believe to be the perfect six-year-old rye.

Unlike Bourbon or Rye, which, by definition, must be aged in new oak barrels, our US 1 Unblended American Whiskey is aged in a way that utilizes bourbon-soaked barrels to achieve a rich and unique flavor profile. In late 2013, Master Distiller Willie Pratt agreed to re-release our US 1 Unblended American Whiskey after a nearly three-year absence from the market, deeming it “just right” and “the best it’s ever been.” Crucially, our US 1 Unblended American Whiskey never contains grain neutral spirits – hence its “unblended” distinction.

Renowned for rye, America’s first whiskey, since our founding in 1753, we take production of every barrel of Michter’s Rye very seriously. Michter's US-1 Rye is made from select American rye grain that is sheared to enable the saturation of more flavor during fermentation. It is then aged in a heated warehouse. This premium rye has hints of light spice, black pepper, marmalade and plum, spicy grain and light caramel.

Michter’s US-1 Bourbon is made from a carefully selected mashbill that features the highest quality American corn. It is then matured to the peak of perfection, with barrels often aging in excess of eight years. Truly “small batch,” each batch of our US*1 Bourbon is typically composed of no more than two dozen barrels, leaving no margin for “blending out” imperfection and thus necessitating excellence from every barrel. Reflecting the spirit of the Bluegrass State, Michter’s US*1 Bourbon is nuanced, mellow, and earthy.

Ancient buffalo carved paths through the wilderness that led American pioneers and explorers to new frontiers. One such trail led to the banks of the Kentucky River where Buffalo Trace Distillery has been making bourbon whiskey the same way for more than 200 years. In tribute to the mighty buffalo and the rugged, independent spirit of the pioneers who followed them, we created our signature Buffalo Trace Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey.

Aroma of oaky spices, figs and maple syrup. Notes of orange peel, dates, roasted nuts and tobacco lead to a sweet finish that is complemented by a hint of intense oak.

CABERNET SAUVIGNON

Captivating aromas of pink grapefruit, honeydew melon, kiwi, Asian pear, white nectarines and fresh pineapple. Juicy, with great density, this wine offers a good balance between acidity, density and residual sugar with a crisp, lasting finish.

Aromas of ripe cherry, cocoa, anise and rich baking spices. Plush flavors of cherry, plum and pomegranate meld with hints of delicate tea leaf. Structured, balanced acidity and elegant, firm tannins round out the pallet.

Translucent dark garnet in the glass. Light spicy zinberry, raisins, and mocha on the nose. Ripe berry fruit, dark berry, and spice on the palate. Pairs really well with Pasta.

Very aromatic bouquet of small ripe red fruits (cherry, raspberry, currant). Beautiful flesh in mouth, a delicious marriage where tannins and fruits are pleasantly mixed.

Pale golden colour. Nose with notes of white flesh fruits (peach, pear). In mouth, it expresses its fruity flavours on a smouth structure. Pair with snails, seafood, fried fish.
